At 26lights, we’ve have always worked with digital work tools! They help organize and optimize our team work. In difficult times, such as today, these tools might be essential to you and your company in order to keep working efficiently and collaboratively. We decided to share with you 26lights‘ favorite digital work tools!

#1 Google Hangouts

Homeworking doesn’t mean no meetings! Log in to Google Hangouts and have a digital meeting with your fellow colleagues for your daily standup meeting or with your clients! What we really love about this digital work tool is that you can share your screen during the meeting and it helps illustrate what you’re saying.

But don’t worry if you’re still in your pajamas, you don’t have to put the video camera on 😉

Slack is here because you want to keep the use of WhatsApp for you personal life you know… All jokes apart, Slack is an instant messaging platform used all around the world by thousands of companies. The real asset of this digital work tool is that you can send messages or files to only one person, to everyone in your company or to a specific group of people.

We use it everyday to talk about current projects or about who wants to eat what for lunch! It’s quicker to ask questions by Slack than by email!

This is the main digital work tool we use for project management. It is a cloud collaboration service, it works like a spreadsheet but it gives you the power of a database to organize anything. We use it every day, homeworking or not! You can follow the evolution of everyone’s task, which is very helpful.

#4 Taiga

This digital work tool is a must if you are in the business of software development! It is project management platform for agile developers & designers who want a simple, beautiful tool that makes work truly enjoyable and easy to follow.

How to use it? You can share content and progress status with the developers and the product team but also with the client. It’s a really complete digital work tool that ensures no loss of content nor communication.

#5 Whereby

This digital work tool is an alternative to Google Hangouts. It is free up to 4 users and there is no need for your guests to download a software or to accept an invitation. You will create a unique URL for your company that you will use for every call! Again, camera or not, it’s up to you!
